New UForge Release: Onboard Applications to Windows Azure and Flexiant.

Self-service application onboarding to Azure and FlexiantWe are pleased to announce the UForge 3.3.1 release.
This version includes support for Windows Azure and Flexiant IaaS platforms.

UShareSoft is continuously expanding UForge connectors to different clouds, providing users with high level interoperability and maximum choice in software delivery to cloud.

 

Now, UForge users can onboard their cloud software images and server templates, both custom-built or acquired from UShareSoft's app store, directly to Windows Azure or Flexiant.

They can also manage the full life-cycle of these images, from initial creation through to ongoing updates and maintenance.

In a nutshell, UForge users can now:

- Register their Windows Azure or Flexiant account credentials in UForge

- Generate VMs and images for Windows Azure or Flexiant, based on Windows server or on any industry leading open source operating system,

- Easily and quickly publish the generated images to Azure or Flexiant IaaS platforms.
